YYYY (years): contains daily-averaged data for global (Gave), 
northern hemisphere (Nave), southern hemisphere (Save) and 
local time of day for northern hemisphere (Nm,Nn) and southern
hemisphere (Se,Sn).

docs: contains documentation and information about this dataset

lat & lon: contains SIR format files who pixel values are the latitude
and longitude of each of the standard areas.
